Giving In
Sadness within me
It is seeping through my veins
And engulfing my soul
My eyes grow weary
My heart bleeds
My mind becomes shattered
With no relief
My hands shake
My legs wobble to and fro
I have no strength
I am losing control.
I have walked down
This lonely road before
My feet ever so sore
My breath not easily found
I lay myself down on the ground
Blankness is what I shall see
Then maybe there shall be a peace for me
