Treasure Island

Heather Burns

Gigantic Sea

Looking in
the
distance,
as far
as I
Can see.

An ocean
so wide
seperating
you
and
me.

Can this
go on
forever?

How can
this
be?

Will the
waters
flow
together?

Creating
one
gigantic
sea.

Poem of the Day

poet Edmund Spenser

My love is like to ice, and I to fire:
How comes it then that this her cold so great
Is not dissolved through my so hot desire,
But harder grows the more I her entreat?
