Even though certain people
..are staying very close to us
As comparable to the very closely formed
..tiny toes of the dogs,
What is the use of their friendship
..when they are not helpful
At least to the smallest level
..to the size of the leg of a fly!

It is appreciable to have friendship
..with the persons
Even though they are far away
..since they are very useful to us;
As if even though the water coming from
..far away through a channel
Helps to flourish the fields
..and crops to a great extent!
