Forgive Me Poem by Friend A

Forgive Me

Rating: 5.0

To you, Beloved, this sonnet is devoted
With my chosen words, it seeks all I wanted
Your clement forgiveness under that serene sky
Worth a thousand trials to just be of no lie
Forgive me, if my arrows miss and frightens you
Forgive me, if I failed to fulfill things long due
Forgive me, if I decide irrationally
Forgive me, in times I doubt your ability
Forgive me, if I am too clumsy in your eyes
Forgive me, if I say words that speak twice
Forgive me, if at times I become too carefree
And forgive me, for loving you so truthfully
‘Cause from the very start, I knew I had no chance
Yet I still let you put me under a deep trance
