Your Smile Poem by Friend A

Your Smile

Wake up from the dusk amidst this eternal night
And let the sun shine on you like perpetual light
For a promise I want to fulfill by your side
To reveal the truth like the seashore in low tide
My thoughts and emotions, countless as they may seem
Yet they never reach you, not even in a dream
Like an injured bird trying to fly to the sky
But failed all tries, marking a bitter-sweet goodbye
Farther and farther, this memory seems to get
I always try to recall, or at least what's left
For every time I try to remember those days
Only a few amount of fragments ever stays
And now, only one image echoes in my mind
Your ever so sweet smile, in which hope I can find
