Forget Poem by Cherry Orwell

Forget

Have I ever told you?
Your eyes are as beautiful as the stars,
a pair of jewels hanging on a beautiful frame.
Your smile is as pleasant as spring,
as its beauty takes one's breath away.

I wandered through the lanes,
walked on the places
you once set your foot on.
making sure
the heart that i have,
will learn.............
to forget.

I looked at the trees,
breathe the air that you live, knowing that
your heart
isn't here........
but still i strive,
thinking if i do,
the love that you had,
will be mine.
