Firing on border areas

Unless you are the slave
you may behave
in the defiant mood
for others to be well understood

Why people should be oppressed?
and stressed
for no fault of theirs
and live with fears

the borderland people have a sad tale to state
how well can they relate?
when cross border firing is raging on
in minutes, their life is gone

Rockets, mortars, and stray shooting
and the threat emanating on a war footing?
life is really like hell
fear and only fear to reveal

Innocent people lose households
kids can't go to school
people can't take their harvest
can we do still some best?
