Fighting Poem by Far Lapenna

Fighting

Rating: 3.5

Screams lash from a sore throat
Teeth clash like a saliva filled boat
Hell is unleashed in eyes only
Don't be fooled, only the beginning
Soul's part, bodies are wracked
With heartbreaking sobs
Tears mixing with sour tastes in the mouth
Mind is filled with sickening red
Blood pulsing through the veins
Faster than for any heartthrob
Words are killed off without grace
They used to hurt, to sting ones face
Murdering humanity of its human base
This is how wars are started
With fists, knives, fingers parted
Squeezing ones throat, hoping he will die
Words like vices
Laughing at the gifted
Compared to nails going down the blackboard
To the howl of thunder
No longer warmth telling you, look further
The origins assassinate all you have learnt
With a single letter your soul is left burnt
Slay them all your instinct command
How dare they disobey
How dare they stand
You try to hurt them with all your might
They ignore this and return your plight
Vengeance is cruel, is deathly black
It urges your pain, urges to attack
You don't realise until later
How foolish that was
