Frenemies Poem by Far Lapenna

Frenemies

We always seemed to spit and fight
It was always very rough,
But we always made up in the end
And we helped each other out.
We did Each others hair
Then we broke each others heart
Some people said we were friends
Some people said friends apart
Sometimes we were best friends
Sometimes we were not
Sometimes we were invisible
To anyone but ourselves
Oh, why did we have to go
And shatter each other to pieces,
When we could have resolved this
With Happiness and Kisses.
We argued over the littlest thing
Like either love or either hate
And other times we questioned
Whether we were mates
It hurt us so much, that friendship
Of conflict and entrusts
We could stand it no longer
So we decided to stop,
So Whenever I see you
Walking down the street
I feel this hurting in my chest
Wondering why we had to compete
Of which girl was the best
Why did you have to go
And leave me on my own?
When we could have still been friends
And not let each other down
