Fell Out Of My Hand Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Fell Out Of My Hand

I held an ice-cream cone,
Which fell out of my hand.
I tried to pick it up,
But the melted ice-cream did land,
On the sidewalk you see.

I pinched some cotton-candy,
Which oozed out of my hand.
The blue and pink colors,
On the sidewalk did land.
I couldn't pick it up you see.

I spit out some chewing gum,
And it landed on the ground.
The plants around it must've wondered,
Why it landed all around.

I was a fun kid you know.
I liked being fast,
Even though it ended-up,
Being a mess at last.
