Feeding >>> Poem by Manonton Dalan

Feeding >>>

Rating: 5.0

I was eating crackers
when walking to my work
I hear birds flying over
I see raven landed on car
I toss one in air, kwaak
for every four steps I toss
on my 16th step sky is full

I have to stop too much noise
I guess these birds descended
from my tribe, they said 'kwak'
which means mine in my language
they gaze at me as if remembering
my face, my height, my own smell
raven knows me I feed her before
also she knows my car, amazing

Deep poem with many layers of meaning. Giving is important but it can cause a bit of trouble sometimes. Animals and birds always remember the one who feeds them.
