Life is full of mystery
of unexpected encounter
meeting faces and unforgettable places,
We just couldn't understand.
Sleepness nights of a waiting heart,
Blaming fate with a cruel end,
Love untold, desires forsaken
the heart remains the same.
Could we be honest and look at life this way:
To meet, to know, to love and then to part...
Is the sad fate of many human hearts.
the lines are simple yet effective and the theme is well displayed. keep growing.10

great poem, it reminds me of this poem from Rumi: My heart is so small it’s almost invisible. How can You place such big sorrows in it? “Look, ” He answered, “your eyes are even smaller, yet they behold the world.”
Thanks Francois. I have still some more poems to share. I hope you'll read my second poem and please comment about it. Virginia
