Fallen Rising Moon Poem by Alex McCullough

Fallen Rising Moon

I'm worried,
This road resembles my shadow,
Binding to where I don't know what's real,
Other than this life grasped in my hands.
Don't scare me,
My mind's beyond its broken frame,
Crashing against these final remains,
Yet the colors on the faded walls,
Only say so long....to be in your dreams.....maybe?
Though my tears are in flames,
Letting them go even hurts more.
Glaring Blooming Cheering Family,
Which one of you keeps the key,
Cause the sun can't be seen yet,
Past this Fallen Rising Moon.
It shines just like the candle of my life,
What you left here,
I am.....everwaiting with your soul,
Maybe if the world went blind for a moment,
You'd see how near we've always been.
