Tomorrow's Morning Poem by Alex McCullough

Tomorrow's Morning

Do you ever hear it in the night,
The vibrant dreams of the world,
Echoing out into the vast distance of tomorrow,
As they reach out with all their hearts!
The doors at the end ahead of me quickly opened,
As I ran forward towards what they held,
Though the gift inside,
Puzzled me more than ever imagined.
It was a single box before me,
Silent yet louder that ever possible,
Because within it,
Held the dreams of everyone.
I reached out as I tried to lift it up,
But it was no use,
The weight it carried,
Was too much to bear.
And just when I was about to give up,
The voice within my heart shouted out an idea!
Dive into the morning of tomorrow,
Gathering the wishes around you,
As if they were lost and now found,
Help them find their way to their true home,
As you still search for your own.......
