Frozen Princess Of My Dreams Poem by Alex McCullough

Frozen Princess Of My Dreams

Looking for the wasted time,
Quiet as my world inside,
Scattered about throughout my frame,
But no search can regain what has been lost.
My fears became my home,
So cold I couldn't let go,
Because the blank reflection of me,
Spoke only in a tone of silence.
So I'll pray for you each night,
Frozen Princess of my Dreams,
That a glimmer of hope appears,
So bright that it breaks through this tragic tale.
Intense as a new morning,
So shiny it can't be looked upon,
But like a tattoo you can't erase,
Or a match you just can't compare,
Let it become a blanket,
Even for just tonight,
So I can rest from all of this.
