To the serene waters below
I but so small threw these whirls
Oh! The beauty and the terror it held
Spreading even as i sank to the
Heart of its darkness, i found
The stillness untouched clad neat
In it coldness, aloof and composed.
Few rays search its floors by day
And few moonbeams dance at night.
Now and again i see a snake slither
Few weeds tweak and sway to
The fishes journey back home
And when i strain and look i see
The small branch i had perched
The tip of that tiny leaf i danced
When the first ray of the morning sun
Was about to kiss me goodbye, i fell
But now if u ask me who i am
I am but one with the pond
Part calm and part cold, part life and part death.
But i will tell you what i was
I was but a dew up and free cheerful to greet my sun
Just when i slipped and fell right to
This place i call now, my home

Amazing portrayal of nature in its various moods, happy as well as fierce, with a captivating expression. Thanks. I quote a few lines as under: I am but one with the pond Part calm and part cold, part life and part death.
