Expectations
Expect the least
but do your best,
Expect nothing in return
only then happiness can we earn.
As expectation only hurts
and brings in more sorrow,
Just enjoy the zeal of life
and live like there is no tomorrow.
Just be with someone who brings
smile to your face and not tears,
One who stands with you like a rock
and wipes away your fears.
Love someone from the core of your heart
but do not expect the same love back,
Lets delete 'expectation' from our life's dictionary
and make our lives joyful and merry.
The true meaning of Life is to plant trees under whose shade you do not expect to sit.
Unfulfilled expectations always bring grief and sorrow. Hence, it is necessary to do good things for others purely for the sake of getting the joy in giving and not expecting anything in return. Since all good things done by an individual emit positive rays, it is nature's rule to start some thing good some where for that individual. Thus, without expecting returns, the giver gets returns in some or the other form from unexpected quarters. A thought provoking poem. Thanks for sharing.10 points.
