Why everybody stare at me?
As if I have fallen from tree
A ripe fruit for everybody to grab
Make desparate run with knife to stab
As a young girl I knew nothing about any affairs
It was not considered good or fair
Yet young age waits for none
The nature has performed its act and done
I may be loved by so many and praised
I am beautifully looked and elegantly raised
It makes difference when you are gifted with talent
It is considered gift from the god and heavenly sent
How all of sudden, the garden may be visited by so many birds
Make permanent refuge, build the nests and fly skyward
Sunshine may descend and flowers may come out from hideouts
This how the girls too experience youth and all about
I am always blinded by mistrusts
I knew that some safeguards are must
Yet some errors might take place
As so many may be making attempts to win the race
It is all the more important to whither the storm
It is same for all and from any direction it may come
Here comes finest hour where I have to take decision
Not enough time left for and to measure it to its precision
For any girl it may be difficult way
Thorns may be found but will have to be pushed away
It is life time remembrance and has to be weighed
The life must be moved further and not stayed

Re: Everybody stares (Score: 1) by rose.storrs This poem has potential, but the English language has been misused a lot. Im unsure if its on purpose or not, but it messes up the flow for me. Best wishes! Rose Muhammad Rafique Farooqi very interesting poem
