Everlasting Depths Of Darkness Poem by Patrice Delevoe

Everlasting Depths Of Darkness

Rating: 4.2

Once there was a child with no feet
Innocence child, dark skin, deep scars
Lost in privation with no food to eat
Forced deep down in darkness to grow
No sun, no shine, just rain, pain, and shame
No name, no fame but darkness, lame!
Dark, dark, night, night nobody wants to hold it tight
Wishing, hoping, praying, fighting for better
Falling deep, deeper, and deeper in darkness
Red flames cast up as a light
Horns facing, devil holding his scythe.
Run, run, fall, fall, pray, pray, GET AWAY
Cries unheard, secret buried deep
Tears flow, Savannah creek.
Hurting pain, scared beneath.
Deeper and deeper. Everlasting Deep

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Going up in a world alone can be hard. The more a person soak in disparity the harder it will become to live. More pain is going to cause them to fall deeper and deeper. Eventually everything will become overbearing and it will become a classical condition and everlasting.

It's a dystopic poem. 'Cries unheard, secret buried deep Tears flow, Savannah creek. Hurting pain, scared beneath. Deeper and deeper. Everlasting Deep' Very depressing. 'Eventually everything will become overbearing and it will become a classical condition and everlasting.' (Note) Dismal thoughts.
