Success Y Disparity Poem by Patrice Delevoe

Success Y Disparity

Rating: 5.0

The little boy born
the little boy heart torn
the little boy followed rules
the little boy confused

SO,

The little boy lied
the little boy cried
the little boy teased
the little boy never was pleased

the little boy hated
the little boy victimized
the little boy sad
the little boy never had a dad

The little boy told
the little boy got beat
the little boy run away
the little boy fell deep

The little boy cried out
the little boy was not answered
the little boy died

A strong man born
A strong man built
A strong man who could not be killed
A strong man who did not fear

A strong man who rise
A strong man who survive
A strong man from a little boy
A strong man who is not a toy

A strong man who stands for a lot
A strong man who figured it out

The past irrelevant, the futures the key

So
,
Transition from a little boy to a strong man like me.
