Empty Echoes Poem by Soumita Sarkar

Empty Echoes

New role, new frame and new voice
Welcome those who desire and deserve
Lame light of insight turns poise
Current call when pinches the nerve
Pulse racing till high and low
Blind senses lay unmoved to fall
When all friends switch as foe
Conscience echoes in an empty hall
Tucked hands and puffed lips
Is all your observe in public open
No space, no smile in limited dips
Hold yourself to bear and then
A drop of tear may dry inside
Look for the last glass of pain
Shadows jolted and shrugged aside
In life lessons emerge in train.
