Whether to cry or laugh in a dilemma I am
on knowing the importance of this day
“Elimination of violence against women”
why the hell this pathetic situation arose
In declaring a day for the safety of women
who are the part and parcel of every man’s life
admit every one, the entire human race
would not survive without women
Every man is born to a woman
without whom man will be no more
Whether deliberate or conspired
victims are the women in the hands of men
Profess every man when in public
the importance of women in private life
Alas! no day goes without report s
of violence against women whether rape or assault
committed are crimes against women
in almost every country dotting the world
Ashamed to find the culprits even from elite
lame excuse is given for intoxication, may be
It is intolerance towards women rising to new heights
unable to compete hatred is nurtured
Laws and punishments never can bring a change
It is the mindset of every prospective offender
in seeing own sister or mother In his prospective victim!
