I have seen politics closely
How the politicians tell lies
How they make promises
Even for the poor ready to die
They tell the masses that
Their lives would change
That they won't have to
Struggle for meals to arrange
And their homes will not
Be dark any more for light
Will be given free of cost
There would be no scary night
I see them in election time
In cars with their followers
Who beat drums and explode
Crackers and look like robbers
There will be roads and wells
Shops and bi-cycles for all
If people voted them to power
They promise to build a great mall
Strange is the way people
Behave and vote for them
Believing their words this time
Too they bring poverty and shame
I see them in election time In cars with their followers Who beat drums and explode Crackers and look like robbers....your keen observation is brilliantly reflected through this beautiful stanza! An excellent work! (10)

I would like to translate this poem
The poor must be so, if not what topic the politicians will have to say after five years in power-politics/
Unless there is a change in people's mindset poor will always remain poor. Thanks for reading and comment Sir.
