Earthquake Poem by Valerie Dohren

Earthquake

Rating: 5.0

Ground lurching, cracking
banging, buildings tumbling
bridges swaying
land cloven
crumbling crust

Earth shaking -

- turning into trembling body
Nowhere to run - falling

Mother natures trembling form.. A great descriptive write Valerie which makes one glad I've never had to experience it yet.. I love the turn at the end. Thank you. Karen

A good reminder of such fear and devastation as we inhabit the thinnest tenuous surfaces of tectonic plates which will continue to challenge our human family.
