ETERNITY
when the rain stops,
smell of earth and flowers
fill up the air;
when stops the song
we carry the tune along.

When the rain stops All our sins are washed away In its drench when we long to trench Where has stopped its song It still reverberates in our feet Only changes the sound pitter-patter skitter-skatter in our walks helter skeleter And lashing all our steps Everywhere except the raindrops itself
