Double Gift... Poem by Almedia Knight-Oliver

Double Gift...

You only asked for a baby
Ten tiny fingers and toes
One baby to cuddle
One baby to snuggle

But, was doubly blessed and birthed:
two cute babies to sleep side by side
two cute babies to grow side by side
two sweet hearts with melting smiles.

Now, there's two to wash, two to dry, two to feed,
two to cry, two to kiss, two to hug, two to argue,
and best of all, two to love…although twins, but
one of a kind.
