Don'T Worry, Be Happy Poem by Edwina Reizer

Don'T Worry, Be Happy

All the things that come to me
are never what I expect.
Most come as surprises.
They're like a disconnect.

I used to worry about what comes next.
But now I just accept.
For I've learned that what will be, will be.
And tears that I have wept

are dried in time and life goes on
and my fate I cannot change.
So surprises yes, disenchantment no.
And some might think that strange.

But no one can predict the future
or how their life turns out.
So who can I blame for what I face?
Myself, without a doubt.
