Doctor's Role Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Doctor's Role

Rating: 5.0

The doctors are life line
We consider next god or divine
They are worth for all praise
No rest and life is full of chase

Let us remember
His role in operation theatre
We all pray outside
For patient's life in bed

"Save sir my mother"
"Save father or mother"
Such requests fall on our ears
We feel like to cry when hear

Yes such is doctor's day
It has come after spending long way
Let us realize that it is commercial too
The money has to be spun true

The poor die for the want of treatment
Doctors push them for tests different
Unnecessary and unwanted
The humanitarian norms are flouted

Clinical tastes are boom
It forms nexus in room
Life has become dearer
What words are with us to offer?
