Disparem Genus (A Different Kind) Poem by Smoky Hoss

Disparem Genus (A Different Kind)

Rating: 5.0

the utter amazement
of life run,
so oft
in the wrong direction -
wind in the face
tears in eyes,
the soul catches
rays of love calling
like beams of
sunshine -
with age
it all turns,
following the light
into a long, peaceful
sunset -
in the final analysis
beauty, wonder and love
do win... the race is done -

Those first 4 lines caught me up- - the best poets do that to their readers! it all turns, - -following the light- - into a long, peaceful - -sunset - - - - > that is stunningly beautiful writing that also carries a punch of emotion to it. This goes onto my fav list carry a load of 10++++++++++
