Dilemma Poem by Fakeha Siddiqui

Dilemma

Have you been in a situation?
When the time couldn't pass any slower,
When the earth stood still,
But your world couldn't stop crumbling,
And heart so blue,
That the sense of it was extinct.
Writhing with dilemma,
Of the need to be surrounded,
And secluded at the same time,
Have you felt it?
When there's a war in your dominion,
You're weak and bruised,
And you must display resilience,
But you want to be rescued.
Unnerving how words can't delineate,
This affliction of yours.
Nothing diminishes this pain,
Neither a shoulder nor time.
