Dignified Life Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Dignified Life

Dignified life

I retired to bed
Tired but not dead
As I had taken burden
But it was not sudden

I was accepting daily
And fulfilling challenges happily
The reward was as usual
To my satisfaction as an individual

Did I ever try to count?
The income from hard work that amounted
Day by day and formed in real volume
"I am really rich now" I assumed

Was I spending life for pleasure?
Or was the drive for monetary future?
I was not sure but moved on
The life had tremendous progress and was really shown

I am successful man today
With show of success all the way
No regret in life for whatever
I have confidence and keep no fear
