Didn'T I Just Say That Poem by Dorothy (Alves) Holmes

Didn'T I Just Say That

I love you!
Don't you get it?
I love you!
Didn't the moon just telly you so?
Were you watching the sunset
As it whispered your graces...
Sunrise awakened the birds so
They could sing a melody left by
The Ocean waves as they washed to shore
Tumbling the sand castles we build
Yesterday?
I love the way you brushed the sand
From my hair,
And I love your promises of devotion
If I would consent to be yours forever.
I love you...but
Didn't I just say that?
If you insist, I'll say it again,
I love you sooooo!
