Diana Disappears Poem by Justin Gildow

Diana Disappears

Diana runs through the forest and through the plains
Her makeup runs down her face as it begins to rain
She heads off into the hiding place she's made for herself for all these years
She makes her way
Out of the rain
And into her hiding place
Down in the underground
She disappears
She uses an etherly light
To make her way through the dirty beaten path
She keeps her faith, holds it deep inside
She waits for him tonight
