Dear Stranger Poem by Danette Frenz

Dear Stranger

I thought I knew you.
Then out of the blue…
You had to write the letter.
Slap me in the face, will that make you feel better?
Just push me off a cliff, will you?
I thought this was through!
Why can’t we just move forward?
I will, even if you won’t, nor would.
I said sorry, but you still won’t let it go…
I have to go… I’m moving on from this woe.
Dear Stranger, Its okay, that’s your closure.
Now I need mine, for sure.
