Dear Mommy Poem by Michelle Wooldridge

Dear Mommy

Over the years I know we've had our fights
But we still love each other
And never drifted apart
You are my mommy
You were there everytime I was sick
You held me in your arms for hours at a time to protect me
You made sure I was safe
You helped me when I needed help
When I needed you I knew I could go to you
Mom we've been through so much
And much more to come
We will have bad, sad, and happy days
You will be there with me on the most happiest days of my life
And I can't wait for that
But until then we will make our own happy days together
Mommy I was always mad at you when you told me no
But now that I am grown I know you were protecting me and making me safe
You know what is right for your baby
Mommy I am your baby
And will be for eternity
You know what is best for me and continue to look out for me
Mommy I love you
