Always With Us Poem by Michelle Wooldridge

Always With Us

I lost you yesterday
I feel you with me
As if you were still alive
My sisters and I were closer to you more then anyone else
You were in pain
And Nanny, and Papa came and took that pain away
You are walking beside Nanny, and Papa now
Waiting for one day for us all to join you
Uncle Bob you were very important to us
And we will never ever forget you
You will remain in our hearts forever
It’s not goodbye,
It’s see you later
I love and miss you so much Uncle Bob
It won’t be the same
I’ll miss you joking around about me as a child,
Me pushing your books back on your book shelf
I’m sitting here in my mom’s arms
Wishing you didn’t go
Tears running down my face
I think of how your looking down on us with Nanny, and Papa
I do what you would want us to do
The day has come to where we have to buries you
We will be sad but not for long,
Cause you wouldn’t want us to be
We go on living with you smiling down on us

Rest In Peace Uncle Bob
