Bright blue eyes
With deep laugh lines set
Voice like a whisper
Will never regret
Responding to your call
In cyberspace
Didn't expect what I've seen
In your sweet face
Fell into the soul
Inside of your eyes
My soul just had
The deepest, relaxing sigh
I'd lost so much faith
In what I desire
All my worries just now
Seemed to retire
My spirit laid back
I entwined my hands
Rested my head
Like on the sands
Of the most peaceful
And solitary beach
Drifted on the oceans
Of your sweet speech
I lazed in your stories
Lingering there
While I twiddle my fingers
Through my soft hair
Admiring your spirit
Shining so bright
I'd have stayed with you surely
All through the night
Wishing to lay
In sweet fields of green
Listening to all
Of your fanciful dreams
I was running and chasing
Moon beams and dust
I'd collapsed and submitted,
Finally having enough
But you've sparked anew
My firmly lit flame
And I'll never, ever
Again be the same
Wish I'd had known
You so long ago
Maybe I have
Though I didn't know
Were you familiar
With my spirit too?
Because in our time
My sinking soul grew
I stand a bit taller
Than I did before
Wish I could know you...
Just a bit more
I know though that you
Will soon have to leave
And my soul will surely
Miss you and grieve
I felt a strong bond
Of ancient kindred spirits
So similar, so profound
Ever cell in me could hear it
Saying look, just look
You feel it, it's there
Open your soul, your mind
Strip it wide, naked, bare
Take this in cause you know
And you will be held
And so I let go
So I trustingly fell
The greatest part is
You caught me like a cloud
Effortless and strong
As gratitude did abound
From my heart I said
So deeply, many thanks
And from your soul
I selfishly drank
You poured yourself from
The deepest reservoir
Filled the cup that I held
It fed my bleeding heart
I dwindled and lazed
Got lost, just a bit
Looking for gloves, but not love
You would never fit
Looking for your Pearl
As you sit among swine
I found it with passion
Inside of your eyes
I'll treasure every
Single moment had with you
I'll carry it and own it
I've set a new bar now too
But to meet someone like you
Might be a distant foreign dream
My boat now set
Into a new flowing stream
I lay relaxed now I'm sure
I've got new found peaceful ease
Feel the warm, welcoming
New winds, charming breeze
Rustling through
Huge branchy maple trees
As I drift off to sleep
Already deep in dream
How easily you brought
Sweeping peace over me
Maybe you don't know
In time you may see
You'll be back, hope someday
Cause I'd sure like to show
You the same easy feeling
That inside you helped grow
