Dance and songs

It is not only energetic
But forms basic
For healthy body
And means to reach an almighty

The dances were performed
In temples to storm
The sleeping desires of people
And bring them into the fold of temple

The Muslims too took refuge to Qavallis*
On which the name of an almighty has special references
The Christians too have same adoption
And thus it flourishes in our tradition

The Hindu tradition involves religious enchanting
With colorful cloths worn by women accompanied by dancing
The only aim is to worship and get involved with prayers
So dances have secret blessings all over

If we forget religious aspect
It is also fact
That fasting and dancing provide good health
Those controls each part of the body and breathe
