Daily Chore Poem by Andrew Evans

Daily Chore

Rating: 5.0

I stand here my life draining away I tried as hard as I could to sustain my self,
I couldn't take it any more! The same thing everyday. The same chore.
Every waking moment it drained me. Every sleeping night it gained power. It started to over whelm me.
I couldn't take it anymore, The same thing every day. The same chore.
I’m bleeding out and I’m about to die. I keep asking myself why. Then I start to remember why I die for the beast finally took its toll on me
I couldn't take it any more! The same thing everyday. The same chore.
I am your sanity and the beast is daily life. For it consumes us all and my soul slips into the blackest night.
