Crossed My Mind Poem by Tina P..

I guess when you truly care about someone, the best thing to do is make sure they are happy first. Even if it might mean giving them up and letting them leave. I was put on this earth for a purpose, but sometimes I have no idea what it is. I need something more in my life. 'If you show me heaven, I will meet you there.'
Do you ever just wonder what it would be like if you made a different decision? I wonder what would have happened if I never talked to him.
Have you ever felt so happy, then it was all taken away in a flash? Just because you want something to happen, doesn't mean others will help you.
How do you know how to live? Its not something you are taught. Its something you learn as you go along.

Missing, empty space
I know why
telling the truth
leaving out words
you know what you're doing
i am an easy target
i should have seen it coming
blinded by youth
deafend by lies
lying motionless each night
all i had to do was STOP
but you knew i couldnt
so now i wait
and feel the laughter behind my eyes
they told me NO
but You said YES
i have indeed ' set myself up for failure'
you gotta love a girl's emotion
and how easily you can toy with it
until someday
when i can pass this
because it cant be fixed
whats done is done
and later in life
i'll look back and fall
hopefully someone will be there
to help me up once more
