Completely Forgotten Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Completely forgotten 
​​​​​​​Sunday,12th May 2019

We have completely forgotten
the message is given  
"keep love and passion" was a simple slogan
it was purposefully spoken in ears 

we believed in him
and followed with zeal
but forgot to adopt the slogan
and compassion was forgiven 

the animals faced cruelty
so true nature and its beauty
we made it look impure and clumsy
thus undone the work of an almighty 

who are we to take the lives?
or drive them away from homes
kill the innocent
and present the human race as supreme

you are happy and secured 
only when you go to protect  nature
give kind treatment to brethren
and to the animals even
