Completely Dead Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Completely Dead

Why to waste time?
When readers have not time
Their gesture is not reciprocal
But I treat this as casual

Let them not read
And remain inactive and unread
I should not write
But watch them and delight

No problem at all
It is their call
I have my own
I shall not be blown

Literature is not left to someone's liking
It must be written when inwardly striking
The poems are creations of not mind alone
The wind is after all not swept and gone

I find so many poems unattended
I feel sad and dejected
I feel the site completely dead
With no innovation to lead

A very touching comment in verse on the worse trend in the literary field. Ego encircles as tine ticks off I feel so. P Nasarudheen., Kasargod.Kerala Dec 11,2014
