Come to celebrate with me
My loss of freedom to walk
In the street; to spill out my
Thoughts when you are gazing
At me; to break my heart and
Mend it when I need to.

Come to celebrate with me
My apathy towards hungry;
My inability to show you that
I care for you; my sleepless
Nights as I have been denied
My dreams for a better today.

Come to celebrate the killing
Of my culture and tradition;
My soft tender feelings for
Those who you hate to live
With; my loss of vision to
Build a nation of tolerance
And justice and of thinkers.

Come to celebrate with me.
