Close To Almost Impossible Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Close To Almost Impossible

It is getting close,
To almost impossible these days.
To know,
Who is gifted to paint that picture.
Whether it's the one who lies.
And does this well.
Or one who paints on a canvas.
Awaiting to have that picture sold.
Quicker than lies are told to sell.

Is there anyone,
With the expertise that they can tell.
And how was this expertise achieved.
Where did they get it.
If they confessed this.
And would they be scutinized.
Or left to be believed.
Talented liars seldom raise eyebrows.
Their work of art isn't thought to deceive.
