Christ On A Skateboard Poem by George Hunter

Christ On A Skateboard

Rating: 5.0

Holey, Moley! What did I just see?
Christ on a skateboard on the Zuider Zee.
Surfing along on top of the sea,
Saving our souls for etern-i-tee
And Billy Jean King, playing some serious tennis
With that cute little kid known as Dennis The Menace.
Martin Luther King is giving a speech
While watching rat races on Daytona Beach.
Old Lance Armstrong is now riding a tricycle,
Got banned by the judges, no more bicycle.
Joined by Sammy Sousa and a guy named Pete Rose
Broke all batting records after taking NoDoz.
When the sun is at its zenith, here comes Gary Cooper
With his two good friends Lawrence Welk and Larry Hooper.
Bush is still seeking his WMD's
And Courtney Cox is down on her knees.
Shoplifting is Lindsay Lohan's thing
She's got plenty money but this is her fling.
Taking a bow is Barack Hussein Obama
After ordering a hit on bad Osama.
Good riddance is all that I have to say
For a guy who took the Towers down one sad day.
Oh look, there's Arnold, The Governater
Playing a tune on his sweet potater.
Had to get it on with his Mexican maid
‘Cause his wife, Maria Shriver, didn't want to get laid.
Said she had a headache that very night
And took no heed of her husband's plight.
There's Chuck Yeager after breaking the barrier
Bottom's up, the more the merrier.
Tricky Dick Nix is resigning his job
Got run off by an angry mob
Such is the course of hist-or-ee
Just plain facts for all to see.
Holey Moley! Here comes Christ again
Riding his skateboard along a railin'
Showing off for Sarah Palin.
What do you expect? It's an election year
And I fear Obama may be out on his ear.
What goes around, comes around, so they say
And it will all be reversed another day.
