Cannot

Some suggest: "Close eye! "
-simply I cannot.

Some demand: "Slow down! "
-simply I cannot.

Some want me to shut up
-simply I cannot.

I cannot.
I cannot.
I cannot.

"Then accept the result; "
-many say, and I shout
-my reply: "I give life."

Knowing of many walls,
-having been one involved
-with the courts and unjust,
-I spent too much time with
-amongst…

I ate with those who lost
-a comrade, a friend, brother
-or husband, or the wife…
-children or parent…

Therefore, you tell me how,
-how can I?

I cannot.

I have not only been
-there as an observer
-but also, one of them.

So, tell me, how can I?
