Busker Poem Poem by Dave Birss

Busker Poem

Rating: 5.0

You’d probably prefer if I threw in a pound
To reward your performance
On the Underground.
Instead, I’m giving you some verse
To reimburse you for your merry sound.

Not the usual form of payment, I admit.
But I reckon it’s a bit more valuable
Than some pickings from my pocket.

I hope you have lots more donators today
Who aren’t passing poets too tight-arsed to pay.

Laughing out loud Dave! I must equip myself with this immediately. You haven't copyrighted it have you? ? ? ? ? ? ?
