My love song for no-one, was really for someone
Yes honey it’s true
That someone was you
I was getting so excited to see you again
Then out of no-where
You suddenly declare
That you have a girlfriend
Oh dear…
I know you can’t see it
But my hearts beating so imperfectly
To that shattered record you broke
When you first said it
It didn’t quite sink it
But then suddenly it surely did.
My heart slowly dropped
And all that I had hoped
Was suddenly all on the floor
I kept it together until I walked out of the door
And I just kept on walking
Quietly sobbing away,
I guess tomorrow is another day /3
