Chin Up, Baby Poem by Jessica Lowe

Chin Up, Baby

There is more to life than all of these sorrows
Don’t think bout what they stole and borrowed
Hold you head up high, look to the sky
And smile
If you let it, it could be great
But your stilled filled with such hate,
No-one can truly understand
What it like to be you man
But know that I will try
Honey please don’t cry
Because deep down you are strong.
Strong enough to pull through this now.
Now in this deathly of hours
You have so much to give
So much to learn
Something more to yearn
This doesn’t have to be the end
Because now you’ve got me as a friend 3
