Breeze Of Their Love
Echoes of my parents voices linger lovingly,
As the light of day slants across Carlow town like striking gold,
Filters of sunshine caressing me like a sign of my loved ones to hold,
To talk and embrace as our hearts burst with joy and love,
We dance to a new beat with blue hazy skies above,
The New Year dawns sweeping in with the breeze of their great love,
Peace is the release of the white dove
From the heavens above,
Beauty is my parents loving faces smiling in delight,
To see me settled and safe through each night,
With the moon's glow like my parents kissing me goodnight,
Gold, hold, told, enfold our lives into the goodness of their eternal light,
That shines through the day and night,
Love is a bond of hope
And our lives entwined forever like the sun's constant might,
As the breeze of their love sets our world alight.
